Murmuration is a collection of paintings depicting birds in flight. Each painting reflects a sense of mindfulness and curiosity that comes with observing birds and their flight patterns. When my husband first got interested in birding 2 years ago, I hopped on the journey with him. I remember the first few months of learning common birds in our area and being really mindful every time I was outside. I felt so curious each time I saw a bird hopping on the sidewalk or flitting around a tree. These birds had been around me the whole time, but for the first time I was actually paying enough attention to notice and delight in them. I want this collection to give you the same feeling I had.
